High Alert

Everyone out here in San Francisco is very edgey today. This is the first day of the two day funeral for the President of the San Francisco chapter of the Hell’s Angels. He was killed a few days ago on the street outside a bar at 24th Street and Treat Avenue, in a fight with a member from a different rival motorcycle club, the Mongols.

The biker funeral today and tomorrow will be attracting a lot of Hell’s Angels to town and after they bury the President, Mark “Papa” Guardado, everyone is expecting violence between the rival clubs. And I’m sure the idea of having over 1,000 Hell’s Angels riding into town on their Harley’s has a lot of people very worried.

This is really big news in the biker world and it will be interesting to see how it all plays out. I suspect a few more funerals are in the future as a result of this killing.

Train Wreck

Just saw on the news that a passenger train in L. A. collided with a freight train this afternoon. They showed photos from a helicopter of the trains laying on their sides and rescue personnel trying to climb up and over the side to get to people trapped inside the train.

People really count on the trains for transportation in California. I know of several people who commute every day on Amtrak. It always worries me that there will be a train wreck and involve some of my friends. I hope that none of them were riding this one and I hope that the people on the train are OK and just need help getting out to safety.

Lipstick on a Pig

This week’s remark about Gov. Palin by Obama just tickled me. A good friend of mine uses “Lipstick on a Pig” as his screen name for the online multiplayer games that we play. I’ve always thought it was a very clever name, and it gets a lot of comments from the opponents - which is precisely the effect he wanted.

But Obama meant more than just a slight insult to Palin by using that term, don’t you think? Ahh, let the mud slinging and wallowing begin!

Black Friday & Cyber Monday

This year I can only imagine how many people are going to be utilizing the Internet for the fantastic deals that are always offered on line on cyber monday.  With tons of people turning to on line shopping for the sole reason of saving cash money, there may possibly be a lot less people storming the retail chains on the day after Thanksgiving known as “Black Friday”.

I know my wife won’t ever attempt the Black Friday madness ever again, once was enough for her and she has managed to find deals using other methods, rather than deal with all of that craziness. These people that wait in line since the wee hours of the morning in all kinds of nasty weather and the wild and wacky things that happen each year usually end up on the evening news and is very discouraging.

This year she has found a web-site called Blackfriday.biz that offers tons of savings to be had on Cyber Monday this year and has all ready bookmarked the link for her favorite holiday shopping retail store, Target, which is only one of hundreds of merchants that are offering savings and promotions for this huge event that can take place in the privacy of your own home. The wife has already spread the word about this savings opportunity by emailing the link to their web-site to all of her friends and family, along with a post or two on her blog that she manages to find time to keep up to date some how.

The Internet just keeps making life easier and easier these days!

Fascinating Stem Cell Information

My recent reading of a few of the provided C’elle Client Testimonial pages that I found online, gives some interesting insight to the very controversial issue of Stem Cell Research that I have found is now available to the public and is helping saves lives every day and hopefully will continue for many generations ahead of us.

I have found that C’elle is now making it possible for a woman to collect these precious stem cells at home. By going online to the web site of celle.com, you are given the opportunity to order a private and discreet Fed Ex delivered, collection kit that has everything that a woman needs to easily, pain free, safely and in the privacy of being at home, collect and preserve the necessary fluid from and during her monthly menstrual period blood.

Imagine what wonderful things that technology has in mind for these harvested vital stem cells, the possibilities are endless, not only for ones self, but others in her immediate family as well. The possibility of finding the key to treat many diseases like - Alzheimer’s & Parkinson’s disease, Heart disease, Osteoporosis, Strokes, even Cosmeceutical with things like anti-aging therapies, and I must mention many sports medicines, as well, would benefit from this revolutionary process that I have been reading about on the Internet.

I showed all of my newly discovered information to my wife and found that she was not aware of this opportunity and was thrilled that I had found out what I did about this most interesting subject, and we both together took the time to read more about it and she has now decided that she would like to give it a try.

Much to our surprise, there is currently a $200 savings promotion going on right now, when ordering off of the web, just by giving a provided promotion code, plus I discovered another promo that is running called “The Caring is Sharing” promotion as well by offering one kit, a full price, and then allows you to have a 2nd kit sent to the person of your choice free of charge. My wife didn’t long to decide that she would take advantage of that large savings opportunity and has made up her mind that the 2nd kit will go to her sister, just in time for her sister’s birthday, which is coming up soon, in the month of September. I have to say that I believe that it will be the most interesting gift that her sister has ever received, and hopefully the most beneficial as well. I guess this could be considered a “gift of life”.
