Allergies are Hell

I have the misfortune of suffering each year with allergies and it seems like this year my allergies have lasted weeks longer than usual. I’ve been sneezing and having sinus headaches ever since the temperatures hit 70 degrees. I’ve always been sensitive to tree pollen, but now I’m concerned that there are other things in the air that bother me, too.

An air purifier might possibly help with my allergies and also help reduce the sensitivity to the smoke that my wife suffers through, that wafts upstairs occasionally when my daughter has friends over in the family room who smoke in the house - even though we keep asking them not to. So every once in a while smelling smoke in the house is an issue and a purifier would take care of that for me, too.

Tracking by way of GPS made easy

GPS tracking is being used more and more this days and has become very easily accessible through web-sites such as liveviewgps.com, which is where I have found a tremendous amount of information about this up and coming fascinating technology. Whether is be for business or for your own personal use, it has now become more affordable to protect and monitor anything that you deem necessary to.

In fact their live vehicle tracking, positions and is updated every ten seconds, that can be viewed by any computer hooked up with the Internet anywhere. That certainly could and would come in handy for so many needs that I can think of. It is an interesting read and worth the time to check out, if you will.

Running of the Bulls

Every year we hear all of the horrible terrifying news from the annual Running of the Bulls, and it seems to be that time of the year once again.  I have never really understood why this annual event even takes place considering the fatalities and injuries that occur each and every year! And for this to take place in the middle of July when the heat is at it’s worst, beats me.

Thought I would share the video clip link below, for your viewing entertainment!

Preserve those precious stem cells at home ladies!

“Women are now able to control a part of their own destiny” is the line that caught my wife’s attention while she was reading at CNNMoney. She was so excited to hear that a company by the name of C’elle has found the technology which will allow women a safe and easy way of collecting and preserving precious stem cells that can be found in her menstrual fluid each and every month. And that my friends is very good information to know.

C’elle’s is now offering a non-invasive collection process that even the busiest of women will now be able to preform at her own leisure and in the privacy of her own home, talk about convenience. And with the collection of these important menstrual cells they are processed and cryo-preserved, they are kept stored at very low temperatures, for potential cellular therapies that could possibly may be used in the future.

The wife was so please with this new important medical information that she asked me to copy and paste the Press Release that she had found and read, in hopes that more people will hear about this and hopefully take advantage of what this company has to offer.

So here it is below, I hope that this information will help some body with their medical issues somewhere!

Press Release:

Taking Control: Future Therapies for a Host of Serious Diseases May Be Found in Women’s Menstrual Blood

July 07, 2008: 01:28 PM EST

OLDSMAR, Fla., July 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — With today’s hectic lifestyle, where most women are juggling careers, family, relationships, and a host of activities, the idea of possibly facing a serious illness in the future is not something that readily comes to mind — especially when a woman is in the prime of her life. But what most women don’t know, is that the key to treating a number of possibly life-threatening diseases that she, a parent, a sibling or even her children may face in later years, such as osteoporosis, heart disease, stroke, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease, may be found within her own body — in vital stem cells, which can now be harvested from her own menstrual blood.

Now, thanks to the revolutionary research and technology of C’elle, a service dedicated to providing women with a safe and easy method of collecting and preserving stem cells found in her menstrual fluid each month, even the busiest woman can take control of her future, right in the privacy of her own home. With C’elle’s non-invasive collection process, menstrual cells are processed and cryo-preserved (stored at a very low temperature) for potential cellular therapies that may be used in the future. These self-renewing cells one day may even be used for sports medicine or cosmeceutical treatments, such as anti-aging therapies.

“C’elle enables and empowers a woman to take control of her future health, and possibly of those genetically closest to her, in a fast, painless and stress free way,” said Michelle Kay, Marketing and Sales Manager for C’elle. “We live in exciting times, as science and technology are discovering how extremely valuable menstrual blood stem cells really are, and the enormous treatment potential they represent for future therapies. C’elle’s ongoing research is supporting these promising findings.”

The JonBenet Ramsey case

I have to tell you that I was glad to hear on the news this evening that the parents of JonBenet Ramsey have been cleared of any wrong doing concerning the murder of their little girls so many years ago. Good old DNA provided them with evidence that made them come to this conclusion.

It is so sad the her mother has already passed on without the benefit of this exciting knowledge that would have made this poor women’s last days on this earth much happier.

May Mother and Daughter now rest in peace together.
