What, no football on the tube?

This is the time of year I feel the pain of not having football to watch, read about or listen to. I know we just had the draft not too long ago and OTA’s have begun but still this is the calm before the storm. I can not watch the arena league stuff it is way too silly to me.

Canadian football is not an option it is not carried on the TV here anyway and I haven’t seen a game from up north since Doug Flutie was playing up there. Oh well training camp just started on July Ist. we will take it from there I guess.

Get your personal online loans here folks at personalloansleader.com

I’ve been checking out the issue of getting personal loans online lately and been doing a lot of research on the Net seeing what is out there that would work best for us. The house is in need of several repairs that we just don’t have the extra cash laying around that will cover it all

The wife suggested going to personalloansleader.com, which is a national Personal Loan  service company that offers fast application processing for all people with any type of credit issues. We don’t have the most perfect credit ratings at this point, but not all that bad in comparison with many other families these days.

They advertise personal loans up to $1500 and that just so happens to be the magic number that we have in mind for the items needed to get our house back on track again. I think I’ll jump right on this offer some time this week.

Spam, ugh

One of my biggest pet peeves is the spamming issue, this is something that is continuing to get worse and not better and I just have to get it off of my chest.

I am so sick and tired of getting all of these spammed messagesevery single day, that state “I didn’t agree with you first, but last paragraph makes sense for me…” especially when the post is absolutely not about anything that could be agreed or disagreed upon! These folks need to at least put some type of thought into their comments!  At least take the time to actually read the postings and than make your comment relavent to it, it really is not that difficult to do.

Computers and the Internet have made things so much easier for us and it is has become for us all a huge time saver, it really bites to get bogged down with such trivial nonsense.

The lost art of hand blown glass

Hand Blown Glass Art is something that both the wife and I enjoy. In fact I used to know a guy that did this lost art form and purchased several beautiful pieces that he had for sale, years ago when I ran across him at the flea market unsuspectingly. He was setting up there for a few months and then he was up and gone again and who knows when we will run into him again. I would really like to continue buying pieces from him to add to the ones that we have sitting on display in the living room that we get so much enjoyment from and love showing off to people that come by for a visit. His pieces are that beautiful.

The wife ran across a web-site of handblownglass.net last night and called me into the room so that I could take a look at the pieces of hand blown glass that they have for sale. If you have any respect for this glass blowing field you really should go to their site and take a look, these pieces are truly amazing and are decently priced and guaranteed to arrive in one piece or you get your money back 100%.

Take a look at this wonderful piece that the wife was drooling over and was saddened to find was already sold.

glass

HandBlownGlass.net is an online art gallery dedicated to Hand Blown Glass that features top glass blowing artists. Each piece is individually made and is one of a kind. Each piece is signed by the artist and comes with a certificate of authenticity from the studio.

So if I don’t run into my old bud again in the near future, at least I know that I can go to the Internet and find some really nice pieces that I will keep in mind for future gifts for the wife, you know like for Christmas, birthday and anniversary gifts that keep coming back year after year after year.
