After receiving the email from my sister about her new assignment that she is enjoying so much, that she sent out to literally hundreds of people, she sent me a personal one which was very interesting also, and definitely on a more personal note - her love life.

I knew she was seeing a young man for a few years now, off and on, here and there, and that he is a temporary attorney New York style, for sure. She sent me a picture of him along with the link to the practice that he works for which is http://perdiemattorneys.com, they practice out of New York and New Jersey also, which it turns out he is from there, the place they call “The Garden State” and know I even know his name.

The firm that has hired him is a well known firm that is doing very well with their on-line attorney business venture and they have just about every type of attorney trained in all of the different type of legal matters that one would need like bankruptcy and depositions, and countless others as well, and are admitted into both federal and state courts. You can retain them with just a few keystrokes on your PC. you got like that.

I’m glad that my sister sent me this info, I’m happy to see that she has someone to have fun and enjoy life with whether it gets serious or not time will tell, hope that they just take it one day at a time.

The wife and I are both experiencing our bones and joints aching a lot today and this has been happening enough to which we have come to the conclusion that it is the weather, the rains. We are both trying to move around and look like a couple of old farts that need canes and walkers to get around. If this truly is the case, we don’t need anymore rain.

We have all of the kids bedroom upstairs, while the wife and I enjoy the master bedroom on the main level, which has it’s ups and it has it’s downs. It is a really good thing that the upstairs has a good thick carpet that helps keep most of the noise from seeping down below, but we still do hear a good amount of thumping and banging going on towards the end of the evening when lights are supposed to be out and the kids are supposed to be in their beds.

Our house is in pretty decent shape for having so many rug rats running all around it all the time. I am always working on one thing or another that has been damaged or destroyed, it is never ending, but such is life I suppose, as a happy homeowner.

The next project that is on my list is hand rails, we need a new one that goes from the first level up to the top level and also the one leading down to the basement, it is in pretty bad shape and has been since day one of us moving in here, but I have never bothered to do much about it. Might as well get to the killing of two birds with only one stone and since we do so much on the computer these days, the wife and I figured that we would utilize the Internet in our shopping around for new hand rails.

I was actually surprised to see as much out there as there is, but then I am always surprised on how the Internet has brought things right to our finger tips and in our laps. The wife found a site by the name www.buyrailings.com and have found several railings that are just really cool and the wife and I got totally absorbed for some time, really getting into it.

We have come to conclusion that it will not be as easy as a task as we once thought it would be. But then nothing comes easy anymore. We have bookmarked the web-site and are going to think about it and adress again in a few days.

I’m looking forward to this week-end seeing as the wife is taking the kids to some relatives beach house for the week-end for fun in the sun and water activities with a boat load of kids.

I personally am going to say thanks but no thanks to the invite and take the week-end off and just kick back and enjoy the whole time of having the house to myself. Might even take the phone off the hook and tell the wife to call on the cell phone when she calls to speak with me during that time, and I’ll make sure that she tells the kids also!

I’m looking forward to sleeping late, eating what I want, when I want, and watching the television on the sports channel all night long, maybe even take the time to put in a movie or two.

I have a sister that keeps in contact with me using email, since she spends most of her time in front of a computer and has no time for phone calls. She lives in a\the Big City working for a Big Name Corporation and is doing very well in her life and seems content with leading the single life and not being tied down with a family, at least not at this point.

She has worked her butt off working for this company, going on twelve years and is now enjoying some of the fruits of her labor and has been asked to assist in the coordinating of their big “end of the year bash” which is one the ways that the company says thank you to all of the employees for all of their hard work and commitment.  The so their gratitude in several other ways through out the year, but this is the BIG ONE!

One of my sister’s ideas was to give each employee a piece of jewelry that she has designed, with the company’s corporate seal embedded ever so subtle in it and she sent me a picture of it in her last email. She was telling all about how she knew someone at a company that handles such corporate jewelry requests, and how he is working over time in an attempt to get everything done just right the way she wants it to be. This is a huge order and they can’t afford the mess it up and the deadline is coming rather quickly.  Anyway, she sent me the link to their web-site www.youdesignwecreate.com so that I could all the things that they do and have to offer and I must say that their site is full of wonderful custom jewelry and is worth the time to look at for awesome gift ideas.

Her “friend” is giving her a great deal of course, and she promised him that she would spread the word about his business, which has become a breeze for her considering that she included my name in the mass emailing that she did to all of her friends, family and co-workers telling us about this undertaking that she has gotten into, but I’m sure is loving every minute of it. I hope everything goes well at their event of the year!
