Okay, my wife has been what is called a “mystery shopper”, from time to time. She says she likes to do it because it gives the different companies the information they need to improve services and customer relations. The wife states that in order for the general public to spend money at any store, they have to want what they offer and they have to enjoy the experience of shopping with that company. “Mystery Shoppers” are like the secret shopping solutions for companies wanting to improve their business thereby increasing their customer base. And everybody knows that happy customers means more sales and better service makes for happier customers. Now this, “BESTMARK”, company has it down to an art form,  and has a highly trained accounting staff to help a company develop a program best suited to its need.

I got up this morning fairly early and was sitting in the living room talking with my eldest daughter when I decided to get, go in the kitchen and get a drink from the refrigerator. Glancing out the kitchen side window I noticed a small group of men standing in the neighbors driveway talking when I saw that several of them with the words, ”U.S. Marshal”, emblazoned across their backs! Needless to say my curiosity was peeked a bit. They never would say what it was they were looking for and they didn’t have anybody in custody, but they were all washing their hands after doing whatever kind of search they were doing in that house. I never heard any commotion of any kind so they really were rather quiet about it. And they left shortly after that without so much as a tip of the hat. Strange! Now I have to worry about what my neighbor is into! Maybe I ought to just buy that house, tear it down, and turn it into a side yard where I can put in a real garden!

My wonderful wife, through no real fault of her own, has a habit of killing cars. Not in a mean way of course, it’s not like she purposely runs out of oil or the vehicle suddenly swerves off the road and into the guard rail, or that the road was icy or it was raining, etcetera, etcetera. She just has a habit of being in the wrong place at the wrong time when it comes to driving somewhere in “my” car, rarely ever “her” car, just when she needs to use mine! Anyway, I’m always having to find some auto collision repair shop to fix whatever got bent or broken.

Now since I’ve been spending a fair amount of time on the computer, researching one thing or another, (mostly for my many computer illiterate friends), I decided to see what I could find that could really help me out and I found this spectacular site where the best repair experts in the business in your area can be found and looked up by simply typing in your zip code! It is clear that you can’t really pick your neighbors. When we first moved here the neighbors were pretty cool. But as a heart attack claimed the life of one, his mate moved away and tenant after tenant has come and gone. For the most part they have been fairly easy to get along with, yet the neighbor on the other side of my house has turned into one big pain in the backdoor type of neighbor. I have a little bitty runt of a shitzu dog that uses our back yard for a toilet, yet this guy I catch throwing some Great Dane’s morning constitutional into my front yard yelling how he, “saw”, my dog do it! I swear, some people really are stupider then they look!

One of my old friends was a helicopter pilot while in the military.
