It appears that the wife is still trying to get an idea for a gift for Father’s Day, she has been pestering me to death lately trying to figure out what it is that would trip my trigger as a gift. I walked in on her the other evening while she was on the PC, seems she was surfing around for ideas on the Web, she loves shopping on the Internet, it is rare that she even sets foot in a store now a days other than the grocery store and when on-line grocery shopping comes out this far from the city I’m sure she will be taking advantage of that also. I don’t blame her a bit, I never have been one to go shopping.

One of the many things that my doctor and I talked about was my breathing difficulties that I am dealing with, something that has been a burden for many a years now and my wife is threatening to move into the spare room if I don’t get something done about the snoring part of it soon. She even went and video taped me the other night while I was sleeping and got some impressive footage of my loud snoring so that I would sympathize with her more, which I certainly do now.

Anyway the doctor gave me another nose spray and a prescription for a new pill that I haven’t tried before and tells me that if in 3 months things are not better then he will schedule me to see a surgeon so that they can drill a hole inside of my nose to allow the air to flow better. It is a real drag that as soon as I lay my head down that my nose immediately closes up and the snoring begins shortly after. I sure hope that this new stuff does the trick because I am not at all anxious to be cut on, ya know what I mean.

You can’t help but no about the devastation going on in China these days, must have been on hell of an earthquake to have done so much damage. That is a lot of people I can’t remember what they sad the number was for folks being presumed dead that are still missing in that whole mess, but I’m sure the number staggering. I must say that somebody really upset Mother Nature on that day. 

Had an appointment today with my doctor, was there for a good while, they always leave you waiting in the examination room for too long, I get inpatient and start looking around, in the drawers and cabinets, anything that will make the time go faster.

He says that a man my age need to start thinking about his prostrate, which sent me right through the roof, I’ve seen and heard too much to want to go there at this time. And just the thought of the doctor putting on that rubber glove and hearing it do it’s famous SNAP is just too much to bare.

The wife was planning on going with me today for the appointment but could not get away from work, so while preparing dinner this evening she started the interrogation of the visit, trying so hard to get every piece of information of what was said and what was done, and what needs to get done. I try hard to remember it all because I know that she will be asking, but this old man isn’t much for remembering stuff like that so well, and in infuriates her to the point of know return at times. I managed to relay enough to her tonight though and of course she wasn’t happy to hear of the doctor’s concerns and the way that I handled the situation, I’m not surprised.
