Summer time means summer camp to kids but to the wife and I it means keeping the kids busy and out of trouble while they are on their 3 month long summer vacation.

And it also means that during the times that the kids are at camp we get to have the whole house to ourselves. The wife makes sure that the kids are all gone at the same time when the scheduling of camps comes around, that way we really know that it will be just the two of us for one short week of the year. That is always something to look forward too and pray that one of the kids doesn’t get sick or get a case of the separation blues and have to return home earlier than planned.

Financial News & Reviews of anything at all related with vehicle ownership are the topics of two web-sites that I have found and are keeping them bookmarked because I’m sure that I will be referring back them both at some point and time.

Another fun and exciting season of Survivor is coming to an end. The wife is coming home a bit late this evening, she went to spend the afternoon with her mother since it is Mother’s Day and has asked me to tape the last episode of one of the few shows that we both enjoy watching together. We have such different taste when it comes to the T.V. and Movies, but since the first episode ever of Survivor was televised we have both tried to watch every episode that was ever aired of this famous show.

Summer-time means summer camp time around this house, our kids have always enjoyed going to camp once they were old enough to deal with the separation issue, which usually happens around their eight year. Our youngest daughter has been going to the same overnight summer camp every summer, this year will be the 5th year. Plus they offer a long week-end winter camp every January that she attends also. I don’t think anything could keep her away from her dear be-loved summer camp but a few of the other older kids are ready for new adventures this summer and have taken the incentive and have got all the camps all lined up just ready for the wife and I to review and sign the papers.

The oldest one wants to attend surf camp, I’m not surprised, this one practically lives in water when she is close by it and loves all kinds of water sports, but she hasn’t ever been exposed to surfing and has always wanted to. She found a web-site called www.wbsurfcamp.com, it is a company that has several locations that they offer these surf camps at, most are in Hawaii, but they do have one in North Carolina, which isn’t that awfully far from here. They have a teen summer adventure camp program that does sound good, I can see why she is interested in attending this place, they cater to the absolute beginner teen and warm water lovers.
