No one had to ask what the results were for the audition that was held yesterday for the Talent Show, just by seeing the smile on the face of this child, there was no question that the news was good news.

In fact the news was even better than expected. They were so impressed, that the girls are being excused from the first practice session that is being held soon, they were told to keep on practicing at home just the way that they have been doing and they will be told when they will need to attend one of their practices held after school.

The homework assignment for one of our teen-agers this week-end is for her to go through the motions of learning to run and operate a small business of their choosing and she chose the Food Industry. She tells me that since she has waitressed a few times that she would have some inside knowledge of this subject . In researching for this project they are encouraged to use the Internet as much as possible as one of many useful and much needed tools for the project, no problem there.

They lost power several times but he was all set and ready to switch on the generator that he keeps at hand for just those reasons.

Guess I’ll need to get down there soon and see if I can lend him a hand with some of things that need doing, haven’t been down there for quite some time and I think now would be a good time to get off of my duff and take a nice drive down to the country.
