Small Business Loans

A good friend of mine, Pauly has been tossing around the idea of opening his own Rug Store a lot as of late, he has the most amazing supply of Asian, Arabic & Oriental rugs that he has been wheeling and dealing in for many a year now. He has grown tired of the hassles involved with traveling around from one Flea Market and Antique show to another, he wants to “put down some roots” as they say.

Now Pauly is definitely from the “old school” and is for the most part computer illiterate, so I offered to come to his aid and spend the day looking around with him on the Internet for some of the things that he is in need of. We both agree that finding a company that offers Small Business Loans should be the first order of business.

After searching for only a short time we came across a web-site www.ezunsecured.com that seemed to fit the bill for what he is looking for. Their unsecured business loans are right now being offered at a 6% APR, which we both agree is acceptable. Pauly is in need of a company with excellent customer service, and one that makes the process as easy as possible and can provide the funds in a timely fashion, Pauly truly is not known for his patience.

Vegetable Garden

My garden this year was off to a slow start, but I finally did seem to get it together after going to the local gardening center and picking up a few plants and some seeds. Last few times out I didn’t do so well in the seed growing department, I’m hoping for better results this year. Of course the wife insisted on putting in her two cents worth by demanding that I not grow any more green peppers, which is, of course, one of the few things I seem to do really well at. But with our freezer still full of green peppers, my loving wife says it’d only be a waste of time to grow any more since I’m the only one who eats them unless she makes sauce and even then she uses but one or two of the bell peppers anyway. So, no bell peppers this year. Just means I’ll have to increase the tomato output!

I’m Talking Walking Shoes

Well it looks as though the wife has me online looking for the best buys in footwear. I keep telling her that my feet don’t care that much about costs, what they want is comfort! So off I went with wife looking over my shoulder and guiding me along the way to shoe-land. I was beginning to get a bit annoyed at first, what with the wife having me jump around from site to site faster then I could read the headlines, she must have some built in radar for shoes or something, it’s got to be a woman thing. We finally landed on this one site called walking on clouds or something like it. And let me tell you, talk about a wide selection of shoe styles and brand names! They had shoes and boots there that I hadn’t even heard of, and they describe them in detail as well as pictorial views of the footwear itself. I was amazed to say the least. But I was really surprised at the low range of prices for such quality shoes. I finally settled on a pair of shoes that I like, from a company that I thought I couldn’t afford too, talk about being a happy camper, or should I say a happy shoe shopper that is. I decided to purchase a pair of “Barker’s”, a comfortable slip on shoe with great fit and totally puts my feet in the comfort zone. They’re put out by a company called Josef Seibel Shoes one of many quality shoe wear companies we found on this particular site.

The site offers such brand names as Birkenstock, Crocs, Nike, Anne Klein, Ugg, Dunham, Timberland and many many more. I was simply amazed at the number of shoe stores and brand names available through the website, “walkingonacloud.com.”  I’ve even decided on a new pair of boots called Canard Wapack Slipon Wp Gaucho
by Timberland . Being as I’m such a lazy fellow when it comes to putting on footwear, the slipon feature offered is a big plus for me when it comes to footwear, and to find a firm fitting boot that is a slip on is a major coup for me. The wife has decided on getting the kids new tennis shoes as well, she says their feet are growing so fast that the shoes they have they’ll grow out of within the month. She never did say why she needed several new pairs of shoes. Other then something about looking good with the new outfits she was planning on buying. her first and favorite of the day was a pair of Rhea Putty
by Tsubo . The kids of course went with their Nike’s. I just never could quite grasp the concept of pink tennis shoes, I’ll go out on a limb here and say it must be a girl thing. I also settled on a pair of tennis shoes I liked called New Balance. They call it a “hook and loop”, I call it velcro straps, either or, they are one comfortable set of tennys. I do believe I may get the hang of going out for a walk with the family, what with shoes that make you feel like your walking on a cloud, wouldn’t you?

To Walk or not to Walk

I’m pretty lazy when it comes to taking walks with the wife and kids, and usually find some feeble excuse to get out of going. Last night however, I found a real good excuse to not go out walking. My shoes have seen better days but I do believe that when the entire sole falls off you’d better put on another pair. Which is what I did, unfortunately the pair I chose just happened to be in cahoots with the last pair and they blew the soles off too! Well now with just a little hint from the wife, I must now find some new shoes. She’s suggested buying shoes made for walking and built for comfort. Guess I’m due for a shopping spree and I barely even know what size I wear too!
