I feel bad for all of the folks that had planned an outdoor party of any kind on this day, won’t be smelling any hot dogs or hamburgers on the grill either. The rains have come and taken over, it is such a downpour that we can’t even get a picture on the t.v. due to the satellite dish not liking the rain. I swear, a bird could fart in front of that satellite dish and it would interrupt our service during that time.

The gardens will enjoy the rain, it will save me from having to go and turn the sprinkler on for the next day or so after this downpour. The garden is starting to pop up pretty good, am anticipating a good harvest this fall, last year was not the greatest.

Our eldest of kids received a nice Christmas present this year from her boyfriend, an iPhone. She lit up just like the Christmas tree, when he handed her a nicely wrapped gift on Christmas eve and she found that he had gotten her an iphone. Christmas Eve is when each family member is allowed to pick one gift that is under the tree to open and since he was spending that evening here with us they opened each other’s gifts.

My wife had just informed me that she lost her wedding ring around the house today, and needs help looking for it. I cant believe it, but then again crap happens unfortunately from time to time. If we can’t find it, then I’m guessing I’m going to have to replace it with a newer and shinier ring. I’m really hoping we come across it soon because rings these days are so outrageously priced. Wish us good luck every one, this is a big deal to her, as it surely is for me.

Found a box of old toy cars from when I was a kid buried in the storage bin in the basement. Most of them are hot wheels cars with redline wheels. I was surprised to find that some of them are worth a few bucks these days. So now I’ve been doing some e-bay watching, and researching the going prices for the cars. I’m not sure of exactly how to rate them, condition wise, I’m sure that they’re not exactly mint or anything along those lines. But I have found a few that could be worth around forty or so dollars apiece. Which, although surprising, may turn out okay for me monetarily, if I can find someone to buy them that is.
