Whole fam damily has come down with the ills! Older daughter suffering from a kidney stone too big to pass, youngest girl suffering from chronic stomach disorder and the wife down from stress and now ill with some stomach flu and can’t seem to keep anything down. With my ongoing back problems and severe spinal problems, it just takes the cake anymore! Its times like these that make one think if it weren’t for bad luck then I wouldn’t have any luck at all!Now with everybody unable to work due to sickness and pain, its a good thing I draw a little pension from my service in the military, even so, with what little that comes in combined with the pittance that I get from social security it barely pays the mortgage and maybe covers one or two bills. I blame the democrats for my woes, its two steps forward and three steps back these days. Oh well, I’m sure I’m a bit better off than others from my generation.

My 20 year old daughter was admitted to the hospital on wednesday for a serious kidney infection along with a kidney stone she needs to pass. After a short operation to put in a stint they sent her home the following evening. But today, saturday, she was ambulatory back to the ER where she as again admitted. Problem here lies with the m,anners and demeanor of the Doctor involved. Seems he was rather rude and beligerant with my wife and daughter and actually berated them for coming back to the hospital! Lucky for him I was not there at he time or he’d still be picking his teeth up off the floor. Something that may yet come to pass as I do plan on going in to see for myself what the problem with this backwoods, hick bred, doctor is all about. Man I really hate having to deal with citizen Doctors and their ilk! Seems as though if you’re not wearing an armani suit and flashing platinum credit cards they look down on you as if they shouldn’t have to soil their fingers aiding those that could use the medical help, being as they are so used to the hypochondriac wealthy that’ll pay for their mercededs benz and invite them to play a few rounds of golf! yeah, the more I think about it the more I believe ‘ll have to give a few of these self rightious pretenders a large dose of biker reality!

Went to see a friend of mine in the hospital this evening.  Seems he sneezed a while back and blew out a heart valve, turned out to be a bit more serious then he first realized. Some major heart operating went on and they had him in a drug induced coma for about 6 days after the operation. He seems to be doing better now though, but I had to kid him about his starting to feel his age, being as he is around 67 or 68 and rather proud of his “good looks” and physique. My buddy is close to 20 years my senior yet he looks more like my younger brother ! At least thats what all the dames seem to think. Turns out he’ll be getting released from the hospital tomorrow and returning home to finish his recuperation and rehabilitation. I’m guessing they’ll be sending a nurse around to his house from time to time to keep up on his medical obligations and all. He’s hoping the nurse will be good looking, I told him if my experiences were of any basis, he’s going to be aided by one very large woman with a face that’ll give toads warts! HA_HA_HA! Anyway, I’m relieved to know he’ll be doing alright.

He didn’t do it! Don’t blame the president for the war. Blame those who attacked us! And yes Iraq was indeed a threat, and necessary to deal with. We are, after all, the watchdogs of the world. We took that responsibility when we gave Euprope back to its people…TWICE!  We have saved the world from itself on many occasions. Now they turn on us simply because we are what we are. And there are those who’d side with the french against their own, for no other reason then their ignorance of reality.  Stand for something or you’ll fall for anything. This is the sickness that plagues the democratic party who throw at you one, Hilary Clinton, supposed First female president…trust me here, although she is actually qualified to serve, I doubt she could handle the battle against terrorism for no other reason than that terrorists and islam extremist have little regard and no respect for womankind whatsoever. And their other choice? Barack Hussein Obama? Muslim name ain’t it? Think I’ll stand with the one guy I know is all American, and already proven his loyalty on the battlefield and in the House… McCain!

This past winter has been a real dogfight. Wound up having to sell off my 59 Panhead just to cover my “assets”, so to speak! And having to deal with not just the pain of parting with my bike, but being as time was of the essence as far as finances were concerned, I had to wind up selling her for the value of the motor alone! The loss is nearly too much to think about, why I had close to 15 years tied into that sled. Took me 3 years just to find the 57 straight leg frame. Uncut! Nice old wide glide front end with a 21′ slimline avon. Yeah, buddy.  See, here I go whinin’ about something I’d most likely do all over again were the circumstances the same. We’ve all been there, that spot of choice where you accept the consequences for the responsibilities you took upon yourself. The things we do for family. The things we do for love!
