Today’s technology is something else

Our eldest of kids received a nice Christmas present this year from her boyfriend, an iPhone. She lit up just like the Christmas tree, when he handed her a nicely wrapped gift on Christmas eve and she found that he had gotten her an iphone. Christmas Eve is when each family member is allowed to pick one gift that is under the tree to open and since he was spending that evening here with us they opened each other’s gifts.

She received a package in the mail the other day and seemed excited about it and tore it open almost immediately and was completely thrilled to find that the same boyfriend had ordered he an invisibleSHIELD for her to place on her iphone. Not knowing what all the excitement was about she spent the next few minutes showing and explaining to me all about this new product that I was not familiar with.

She informed me that there are several types of iphone cases on the market now to help keeping the phones safe and decorated in all kinds of patterns and all, but this particular type has a very pretty interesting background, come to find out. This .2 millimeters thick material is an extremely clear and virtually indestructible film that has been used to protect high-speed helicopter blades from dirt, dust and debris in our military, so it has no problem in keeping the iphone totally scratch free and it is backed with a money back lifetime guarantee.

I’m glad that she is happy with this really cool and very interesting technology product, she should be, now if they can invent something that will keep her from misplacing and/or loosing the darn thing, that would be a great invention. But after thinking about that for a while, I would imagine that the companies that make and sell the phones would put some kind of block on that coming out on the market, they would loose a lot of revenue if they couldn’t prevent it.
