Future Energy Sources
Going back to school is something that I have been thinking about and keeping in the back of my head for several years now and I am now researching the idea a bit more and the urge to learn something interesting is getting mighty powerful. It just makes sense considering that the company that I work for will pay the majority of the bill and it will possibly raise the amount of money that I am earning, depending on what courses/classes that I take.
At our H.R. department I was given a good amount of literature that they keep on hand and piled up in that department, one of the papers suggested going on-line and looking at the professional engineering courses that are available to take by going to the web-site of www.cedengineering.com, which was just one of many web-sites that they made available to me in all of the papers that I came home with to go through.
There are several areas that I’m interested in and it will take some time to figure out just what path I want to take, but one class stood out from all of the others, it is called Future Energy Sources and is described briefly as follows: “This course describes the state-of-the art, cutting edge efforts by scientists and engineers in the United States who are involved with research to continue to find alternate energy sources for the future.”
I was talking with the wife about it and she also thinks that this course would be a good one to possibly start out with and see how it feels to start trying to continue my education, while still working full-time and being a father and husband. There isn’t enough time in the days as it is, so I imagine that this will be a challenge, but I do feel up to the challenge at this point of my life and I want to go ahead and get the ball rolling on it as soon as possible.
